I'm Featured on Market Mommy! Woop Woop!

Dawn from Market Mommy (a wonderful blog by the way) has a spot light on Monday's featuring some really neat Mom Owned Businesses.  Dawn calls it "Mommy Monday" and you can read my feature below.

So cool!

Heather McCoy officially opened Natural Grace in 2009, almost 15 years after she began educating herself about natural, herbal skincare and creating products.
McCoy was a single mom until 2006 and that, she said, prohibited her from going full-force toward her dream. “As a single mom, I always had to work full-time and couldn’t really make the break from working versus going for my dream.”
Natural Grace is an online store that offers gourmet natural skin care and household cleaning products. McCoy manufactures all the products by hand, herself. “I do everything from start to finish by myself,” she said. After what she calls her ‘light bulb’ moment, or her idea for a new product, she then creates, tests, designs and lists it. This is a process that of course takes a lot of time.
Her business can be time consuming, so to help balance her work with her family life, she sticks to a strict schedule. “I always make sure I quit working at a certain time,” she said. “Family comes first which is why I work so hard to begin with!”
When asked what she would tell other, new, mom entrepreneurs, she said not to give up on your dreams. “It's not easy to work as hard as we do and it can become overwhelming at times.  But in the end it’s worth it.”
In addition to her main website, Natural Grace can be found on Etsy, her blog, The Natural Gourmet, and on facebook!
